London attractions are best seen with great proximity. London is divided into three parts: the City of London, which contain the Houses of Parliament and several other prominent buildings; Central London, where the metropolitan skyline is visible from any direction; and the Kensington and Chelsea areas, where many of London’s most famous landmarks are located. Some of the most photographed London attractions are the London Eye, Big Ben, the Millennium wheel, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London. A visit to London without at least visiting one of these places would be incomplete.

The London eye is one of the most popular London attractions sightseeing destinations. The London eye tower is among the tallest buildings in all of Europe, housing the world’s tallest glass clock, at the top of the London eye, which rotates twenty-four hours a day displaying the words” Westminster Abbey”. Travelers have a close encounter with London’s famous double-decker buses, which take them almost directly from the heart of London to all of its principal tourist attractions. It is also possible for visitors to hop on a train and travel through much of London at night.

Another of London’s most famous tourist attractions is Buckingham Palace. The largest palace in Western Europe, Buckingham Palace stands tall at the heart of London. The palace, which was built in the twelfth century, has been hosting several dignitaries and royalty throughout its history. Many of the world’s most famous figures have visited London while in the area. There are many fascinating London attractions located within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. These include such locations as Westminster Abbey and Marylebone High Street, both of which can make a nice day out if you are visiting during a time when you want to be just a step away from the heart of London.

London sights can also be found near London’s other popular tourist attractions. The London Eye, one of the world’s largest Ferris wheels, can be found at London’s Heathrow Airport. The London bridge is another popular sightseeing location, as it provides visitors a glimpse into London’s London bridge, which was destroyed during the World War II. This impressive landmark offers a close up look into London’s financial district. And of course, London’s signature attraction, Buckingham Palace, can not be found in London without visiting Kensington Palace. Kensington Palace is considered one of London’s most famous tourist attractions because of its amazing history that includes the crowned Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Richard, who were born here.

London also has many of its famous museums, including the National Gallery, Natural History Museum, London Zoo, Tate Modern, Madame Tussauds, Victoria and Albert Museum, London Zoo’s Natural History Museum and London Science Museum. London attractions like the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, London bridge, Madame Tussauds, tower of London and allotment area have museums that display the works of some of the world’s best designers. Other London attractions include notting hill, Southhall Marketplace and Kensington High Street. Notting hill is an area of London’s capital where you will find numerous small alleys and alleyways.

London attractions are not all that the city has to offer. There is so much to do in London other than go to one of the London attractions listed above. For instance, there is a lot to see in London outside of the city limits as well. The London experience is not complete without a visit to one of London’s parks or an evening at one of London’s trendy nightspots.
